Development of the graphic identity and catalogue design for the exhibition ‘It was not the only thing that could be imagined’, organised by the local culture office and the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada.
Such an eclectic and varied selection of works required an aseptic, neutral and transversal graphic design for all the artists’ works. For this we got inspired on the title of the exhibition and the relationship between light, image and imagination.
If imagination is the capacity to visualise images in our mind, the concept of image consists of the reproduction of an object by the combination of light rays coming from it. Light as a fundamental element is the starting point for the development of projects, works and products and its influence is transversal in the creative process of all artists. All these concepts are represented in the graphics through the alteration of the visible spectrum, thus justifying the title of the exhibition and generating a flexible identity.
